Art in the Library
Blue Ridge Artists' Group
The South Jefferson Public Library is pleased to announce our latest art exhibition for the public. During the months of November and December, 2019, the South Jefferson Public Library will host an art show featuring the recent artworks of the Blue Ridge Artist's Group. This is the 86th exhibit in our Art in the Library series to highlight the talents of local artists. The show can be viewed in the meeting room during library hours: Monday through Thursday from 10-7 Saturdays from 10-5, and Sundays from 1-5.
This art exhibition’s show is entitled 'Growth Spiral' and will include art by Blue Ridge Artist's Group participants. Please come out to meet and greet the artists and partake of refreshments at the show’s reception, which will be held on Sunday, November 10 from 2-4 pm in the Library Meeting Room. For this reception, there will also be an associated storytime, and a signing event of IVANOVICH, authored by Dr. Bruce W. Barth, and illustrated by a member of B.R.A. G., W.J.G. Kellogg. Please, join us!
The Blue Ridge Artist's Group is local and informal, and currently meets at the library on Tuesday afternoons to make art from 1-4 pm. For their weekly meetings, artists who wish to attend bring whatever work and materials they wish to work on, and meet together in the spirit of creative camaraderie and artistic support. This group is always open to additional community participants!
